Universal Yoga Mandala Class

  • Yoga for Life Southwest Mapleridge Drive Portland, OR, 97225 United States (map)

Universal Yoga is a transformational yoga practice that creates better physical health, wellness, emotional stability, and mental clarity. The ultimate aim is liberation from the limitations of our minds, and unification of ourselves as a whole. This class can get practitioners into the state of Citta Vritti Nirodaha -- the ultimate goal of yoga -- stopping the fluctuations of the mind.

Created by Guruji Andrey Lappa, there are only a handful of UY Teachers in the Western World today. This is a special and sacred practice, in which the practitioners will be invited to challenge themselves physically, energetically, and mentally.

To make this a successful experience, please note the following requirements:

1. Students MUST BRING TWO YOGA MATS.

2. PLEASE ARRIVE 10 MINUTES EARLY to park and setup for class.

3. Please bring an open mind and heart - this is a sacred practice for practitioners looking to deepen their yoga practice.

4. We teach this class from our home in the West Haven Neighborhood in Portland, near St Vincent's Hospital (area code: 97225 | Neighborhood West Haven). Because this is our home, we do not provide the address until you have registered for the class. After registering, you will receive an email with the address to our home. We request that you also keep our home address private.

Thank you, and we look forward to sharing this very special practice with you!
