Gua sha is a healing technique of East Asian medicine. This technique is applied to the skin using a flat tool that is done in a scraping motion of the skin with lubrication. Gua sha works well for muscle pain, stiffness, limited range of motion, scar tissue, soft tissue adhesions and more.

Contraindications, precautions, and proper post-treatment care.
Specific Gua Sha techniques used to alleviate chronic pain and increase movement in target areas of the upper body especially for yoga poses that are limited in range of motion.
80% of the class will be hands on, covering areas to work on yoga clients to help with pain and limited range of motion movements. 20% of class will be lecture.
